Finally I have time to update this blog.. :D
Be a full time engineering student sure drain my energy and take all my precious time.. WTH, that is not an excuse to stop study rite?

My father once said, "Engineers are breeds not made!"

Yeah! I've heard that in Russia, the government policy only allows professional marry a professional. For example, docs only marry with docs or engineers marry with engineer. *correct me if i'm wrong*
They sure know that we can inherit our 'cleverness' or 'intelligence' via genetics. But if its true, can our country do the same? :3


Engineer is not easy things at the beginning. For a fresh graduate engineering students, we must collect as many experiences as we can before we can claim our selves as a TRUE ENGINEER. What is an engineer? Just because u grad from universities with engineering course does not make u an engineer. When u start working, sometimes the technician is more better than u. In my point of view, engineer is a person who have deep knowledge in some field of technology that can guide your technician, can performs professional tasks and technician task, multitasking, a good leader and do a better report. :D

It look easy but it still take days.

Before continues my study, i work as a technician in a international communication company base in United States. At there, i can see many kinds of people who claim themselves as engineers. But the truth is, not all know what an engineer really about. I meet a freshly graduate engineering students from US university that very ignorant. She is very ignorant and only speak politely with the other engineers and above. For us who are technician maybe for her only a pest in the office. But finally she has been scolded by our boss because she cannot do much things. She even donno how to solder a simple electronics board and keep blaming us that soldering is a technician's job.
My boss said that, "How can u claim yourself as an engineer even you do not know the basic things. What if something happens at the sites and u need to do something as a temporary solution before the spare parts can be send? Are going to rely only on the technicians? It is much better i just appointed my technician become an engineer coz i do not need u," *this dialog almost the same, i cant recall the true sentence that my Australian boss said*

Note the sky! It is already dark and at this time, it already raining! Beware of lightning!!

One month later, she need to come with us to visit a communication tower. The comm tower located deeply in the jungle and we only can go there via helicopter or 4WD vehicles. We need to camping at the site for 3 days and 2 nights. At the site, she only can watch and do nothing. Zzzz..
Few days later, she finally realise that engineer is not her job. She quit from the company and from what my HR says, she now working as a RnD engineer at a Japanese base company that make TV.

Senior Technician and Field Engineer try to overcome the prob. Me? I just play around

IMO, its is not a good thing for an engineer marry an engineer. :D

Why taking the Tune Talk Zone (VIP) instead of Rock Zone?

Yeah, most of my close friend that going to this concert take the Rock Zone. But it doesn't means that i must follow them. Hahaha. The price can be considere cheap for International Band (compare to Singapore and Indonesia + expenses to go there), so i will not thinking much when i buy this. 

BTW, i still feel very sad when thinking that i cant go to the Arch Enemy concert. 

Why must the concert be held on Tuesday?? Why must at Chin Woo Stadium?? Whyyy!!

Chin Woo Stadium located in Kuala Lumpur near Jalan Hang Jebat, yes there are several public transportation around there, but as u can see in my link, it still too far from the public transport station.. DAMN!! Why i cant drive there? Hahaha.. The main reason is.....I donno Kuala Lumpur road.. My GPS also gone. Tsk.. Tsk.. Tsk..

I also afraid, when the concert ends, the public transport already call a day. So i need to camp there or take a room at hotel.. Zzzz

Well.. About the title...

I bought the ticket from Rock Corner Subang Parade

it has been a while for me to set foot at Subang Parade. Long years back, Subang Parade is one of my favorite spot for me and family to hangout. How long? Long enough coz Sunway Piramid still not there and Sunway Lagoon just opened. At that time, my father workplace in Subang.

After set my foot back after long time, i realize Subang Parade doesn't change much. I also realize that Subang Parade is a labyrinth!! I take times just to go 1 level below.. Zzzz.. I can see the escalator but i cant reach it.. Zzz..

I sure it is a bit hard to play hide and seek here as u can see ur openent but u cant catch them. Haha..

Next, i went to Empire Shopping Gallery :D

A shopping for elites around subang. U can feel the different world here.. This Empire Shopping Gallery just located less then 20 meters from Subang Parade, but u can see the normal citizen just go 'lepak' at Subang Parade while the 'elite' lepak here :D

Conclusion: For me the Empire Shopping Gallery still same as other shopping complex as Suria KLCC. What the different is its location.

Hi there!
Last Sunday, I went to a eco-friendly mall in TTDI Jaya. The mall claim that they are the first eco-friendly mall in Malaysia. 

There's still not many shop open around here 

If u want to know what the different between eco-freindly shopping center and non-eco, the eco-friendly mall try to be ecosystem friendly. Still not get it? For example, aircond produce CFC gases which can destroy our ozone layer.

So the eco mall try minimal the usage of aircond. From image above, u can see two big fan. The big fan keep the air flow around the mall. 

If u can see properly, there are water flow beside the lift. Maybe the water helps to cool the atmosphere.

What so special about this eco-friendly mall?

Firstly, the mall is eco-friendly. We can shopping and in the same time helps the earth ecosystem. :D

2nd, inside this mall there is the first ever Cinema in Shah Alam!!

For those who donno why, before this Shah Alam did not approve any Cinema built in Shah Alam. I not pretty sure what the reason is.

Seriously, i'm not a big fan of A7X today. I was a big fan of them. After their latest album 'Nightmare', i starting to feel there is some changes in their genre. They not so hardcore as before while i still maintains my 'hardcore' . But still, to see A7X live is a big opportunity that come once in a blue moon that i'll not regret. I want see all of the members face to face. Come3!! Got 20% off when buying the ticket until 11th March :D

Do u notice the word supergroup above? Supergroup is a group or band that consist of members who already make their popularity with their previous band. Still don't understand? Just wiki it.. (Supergroup).

The good thing bout this concert is, the ticket can be consider cheap (RM 148 for pre-sale). So to all metalheads in this lovely country, lets go to this concert. I'm pretty sure ur money will not become a waste.

But the bad thing is, the concert is held on 24th April which it is on Tuesday. I donno if i free on 24th April. I afraid i got class on that day. Really sad

I want to see Michael Amott live. He is a guitar hero who ranked #74 out of 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time by Guitar World. This is a big opportunity to meet him.

Sunday! What a day!

Three destination a day.
From Shah Alam to PWTC, Kuala Lumpur then back to Shah Alam via KTM Komuter before go to Setia Alam via car. And then proceed to last destination which it is Mutiara Damansara before coming back home.
It a bit tiresome for me. Maybe i'm not fit enough after spending my holiday with eating and sleeping.
But all of this problem is nothing b'coz what i do today is about what i passionate of.

Firstly, what we have here at PWTC?

Yeah. Today is the last day

For those who love bike that not able to come, i feel very sad for u all. This is the first ever bike expo in Malaysia and who knows when it will be held again. This year expo are included with big names and brand in Malaysian Bike Community. Big names such as Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda, KTM, Modenas, SYM, Cam-Am and Suzuki had their booth in here. Yup, i don't see Ducati, Aprillia, Harley, Agusta and other in this year expo. But still it's not a waste by attending this first ever bike expo in Malaysia. 

What this motoXpo has to do with my passion? They show SuperBikes!!

Secondly, Setia Alam.

Haha. Spending some quality time here by exploring latest inventory in this music shop and some other music instruments that i unable to test during my last visit. Calvin kindly show my the new amp Orange TH-50.

He inform me this baby is one and only model in Malaysia! Walao! Come2 to Crinson Music!

This amp is beyond my range with price tag RM 2XXX. But after hearing and testing it, all i can say is Bravo Orange Amp. I'll get one someday.

Last destination. Wisma Bentley near The Curve.

I go here just to 'cuci mata' at the largest music store in Malaysia. First time set foot at this place, i start 'wow'-ing just after enter the shop. Firstly, I go to pedal section. This pedal section just in front of the entrance. By looking to each pedal, I starting to say "I know that from Youtube!".

2nd, we go to fender and jackson section. Few guitar catch my attention. A tele crafted in Indonesia have my attention. Nice finishing though!

After that we start cruising to Squier, Ibanez, Musicman, PRS section.

Thanks to my friend Bert and my brother Harith for accompanying me. Thanks to Calvin Chuah too for your time. Because of me, he is late to visit the MotoXpo..

And I just came back from medical checkup :D
It is a perfect day for a med checkup with lots of people queuing to meet the doc.

One of my Guitar Heroes. Currently a guitar player for a band call Sacred Mother Tongue, he also have three solo albums. I starting know him from licklibrary channel on youtube in 2008.

Now, he is one of the phenomenon guitar player together with Tosin Abasi (Animal As Leader), Guthrie Govan (Ex-Asia, GPS) and Rob Chapman (Monkey Lord). Never heard bout 'em?

Hahaha. Maybe its because they did not receive enough public attention. Some of them only known in their own region. As example, Andy James, Guthrie Govan and Rob Chapman is known in England and Europe while Tosin Abasi in North America. These guitarist are highly skilled. Some of the people/guitarist considered them as a Guitar God. I included. :)

I finally got a blog. I hope it is not too late to have this stuff.
What i'm suppose to post anyway? There is many interesting event I've went but before this, i just keep it in my mind.
I'm going further my study for degree on 5th March. Yeah I know it's quiet late to do so since I already 23 years old this year.

Alright, for a proper 1st post ever in this blog, I'll introduce my self.
My name is Hafiz Azhar. Mix Chinese and Malay.
People around call me Apis. But I have other nicknames such as Sepet (Form 1 by seniors), Bangge (Mid of Form 1 till Form 3 by seniors), Hulk (Form 4 till Form 5 by Head Wardens and seniors), Wong Abdullah (During college).

How I get this nicknames?? Hahaha :D
It's quite funny when I try to remember all this back again.
I start living in hostel since Form 1. So its is normal for those who live in hostel to have all this nickname stuff.

I'll start with 'Sepet' -.-
As far as I remember, I got this nickname from a senior who is in From 3. I got this on my 2nd week of schooling in Form 1. Well, seniors in my school will not bully (we prefer call it 'ragging') their juniors until 2nd week. I donno about other school but this is how in my school did. In my school, I am the most 'sepet' there. They always say they didn't know when I open my eyes. #@%@*!!
